
Press Release Sahaja Yoga Celebrates Kannada Rajyotsava with ‘Matru Vandana’- A Musical Evening of Devotion, Dance & Self-Realization Bengaluru, November 2, 2025: Sahaja Yoga celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava with a soulful cultural and spiritual evening titled “Matru Vandana”, held at Yuvapatha Auditorium, Jayanagar, Bengaluru. The event beautifully combined devotional music, classical dance, and Sahaja Yoga meditation, drawing an audience of seekers and art lovers alike. The programme was inaugurated by Shri M.S. Narasimha Murthy, noted Kannada lyricist and comedian, who appreciated the initiative and remarked that “Sahaja Yoga is a simple and natural way to experience meditation, peace, and self-awareness, which everyone should practice in their daily life.” Nearly hundred truth seekers experienced Self-Realization through Sahaja Yoga Meditation, a spiritual technique founded by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi in 1970. The practice focuses on the awakening of the Kundalini energy, enabling inner balance, mental clarity, and emotional well-being. The evening also featured mesmerizing devotional and classical performances:
- Pandit Iman Das and Dr. Rajesh Universe rendered soulful bhajans that filled the atmosphere with divinity.
- Smt. Snigdha D.S. presented an elegant Kathak performance
- Smt. Roopa Kiran enthralled the audience with her graceful Bharatanatyam recital.

Regular practice helps individuals lead a balanced, joyful life and has been recognized for its positive impact on mental and physical health.” Adding to its growing recognition, Sahaja Yoga recently received a World Book of Records (London) honour for its large-scale participation during the International Day of Yoga celebrations at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru. The Matru Vandana celebration was open to all and offered a perfect blend of Karnataka’s rich cultural heritage with the universal message of inner peace and spiritual awakening.
